What do the DJs wear at wedding receptions?

We pride ourselves on our professional appearance, so our DJs wear proper attire for the event. Mostly dress suits are worn, but Tuxedos are available if requested.

How much do you charge?

In short, prices will vary according to the nature of the event, the number of hours, which hours, distance, ease (or lack of) setting up and tearing down (ie. steps, distance from truck, ground floor or 87th floor, fundraiser event, Karaoke, lights, etc. Just remember your lowest priced DJ could likely give you the poorest service. It could be anywhere from disasterous due to lack of experience and lack of a good library of songs, to being just OK. You want it to be GREAT...something to remember! You will find that my prices are very reasonable and competitive but my service will make your event. Please call for pricing info at 219-TEN-STAR (836-7827) or (cell 219-689-7827.

I have a wedding coming up. Are the DJs typically invited to eat?

Ultimately, this is entirely up to you. A point to remember, however, that DJ service on your wedding day begins in the morning. Sometimes, several hours are spent in rounding up equipment, driving, and setting up. Dinner is almost always skipped unless they are invited to eat at the wedding. It is proper etiquette to have a table set up for the DJ(s), the Photographer, the Videographer, and any other person or persons that are there to work the wedding, excluding the Hall workers, of course. This gives them some time to talk and coordinate their duties together.
